In order to ensure stable operation of the equipment and improve equipment performance, it is very important to do routine maintenance.

The inspection of the jaw crusher is generally divided into three different levels of maintenance, minor repair,repair and overhaul.

  • Minor Repair

The main repair content of the minor repair is to inspect and repair the corresponding adjustment device, and make certain adjustments to the gap of the discharge port. Then replace the already worn liner, and do the same for the thrust plate. Repair and replace the corresponding drive components to clean individual parts of the crusher. And to re-paint the entire mechanical lubricant, repair and adjust the mechanical lubrication system.

Generally, the frequency of minor repairs is between half a month and one month, and It is processed according to the overall operation of the machine.

  • Repair

The repair includes not only all the minor repairs, but also the worn structure of the pull rods, linings, bushings, thrust plates, etc. It is necessary to carry out certain inspections on the turning, grinding and casting of the eccentric bearing bushes, as well as some bearing bushes. For example, the connecting rod bearing bush and the power bearing bush should be processed accordingly.

The interval between the repairs is also determined according to the wear and tear of the mechanical whole. Under normal circumstances, the mechanical operation requirements can be met once a year.

  • Overhaul

The main contents of the overhaul include all the repairs, the replacement of the eccentric shaft of the crusher, the reinforced type casting of the babbitt alloy on the upper part of the connecting rod head, the replacement of all worn parts and component structures, and even the entire crushing. Technological innovations in machines and equipment.

There are no specific time limits for overhaul, depending on the level of usual inspection.
