What is the role of fixed jaw plate and movable jaw plate?

During work, the motor drives the belt and the pulley to move the movable jaw up and down through the eccentric shaft.When the movable jaw rises, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw becomes larger.In this way, the movable jaw plate is pushed closer to the fixed jaw plate, and at the same time, the material is crushed or shredded to achieve the purpose of crushing;As the movable jaw descends, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw becomes smaller.The movable jaw plate leaves the fixed jaw plate under the action of the pull rod and the spring.At this time, the crushed material is discharged from the lower opening of the crushing chamber.With the continuous rotation of the motor, the crushing motorized jaw makes periodic movements, crushes and drains materials, and realizes mass production.

Jaw plates are parts that come into direct contact with the material, and they are subject to large forces.This effect caused its wear phenomenon. Of course, stress is not the only cause of jaw wear. In the production of jaw crushers, the feeding equipment, the blockage in production, and the material of the part itself are all factors that affect its wear.

The tooth plate wear is uneven, the upper part wears slowly, and the lower part wears. When designing and manufacturing, it is usually symmetrical up and down, so that it can be used upside down after the lower part is worn, which improves the utilization of the tooth plate.You can also add a plate between the frame and the jaw plate, and its thickness is between 5mm-10mm. The use of cushioning materials or plastic materials can reduce the force on the jaw plate. Not only improve the service life of the jaw plate, but also greatly help to improve the production efficiency of the jaw crusher equipment.
